Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 503-842-7111 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Roby's Furniture and Appliance Mission

Our mission is to provide the best showroom to purchase furniture, appliances and bedding in our town and surrounding communities. We will help customers achieve the home environment they desire. While always focusing on our customers, we wish to provide an environment for our employees that is fair, supportive and that provides an opportunity for them to achieve their own personal goals.

Living in small communities has its challenges. Being at least 1 hour to any major city, we experience some of the most brutal weather in the state and we have economic challenges unlike many areas. Roby's Furniture and Appliance not only understands these challenges but embraces them. We provide delivery service from Astoria to Coos Bay and most recently in the Yamhill county area and we rarely shut down our delivery teams for the weather. We also provide quality products at a fantastic value. Our goal is not only to sell "things" but to be an important part of the communities we live in. Not only do we donate to community events, but we have also committed our employment teams to our annual Serve Day. On Serve Day (normally held in January) we close our stores down and get down and dirty with some good old-fashioned community service. This has been a really fun event for both team members and the communities we serve.

The Story Behind the Sign

A lot of people assume that Roby's is open every day of the week, and are a bit surprised to learn that we're not open on Sunday's – a day we could do a lot of business. But some years ago we made a clear decision: we decided that giving ourselves and our team time to "live" was more important than making more money.

Our sign - "Out to Live" - means that while we're happily open Monday-Saturday 9-6, we're contentedly closed on Sundays - our day of rest. On Sunday, we're "Out to Live." So, while our weekend business hours are somewhat limited, and may not be convenient for everyone, we hope you'll understand. And - if you'd like to visit any of our stores after hours - please contact a store manager. We can very likely arrange a time that's just right for you.

"While the work getting done doesn't benefit Roby's directly, and causes them to close the store for a day, Roby's owners and team members feel good about their community service and plan to continue having a company-wide Serve Day in the future."

Read about our Community Service from News Lincoln County!

"It's so nice to be able to close our store for the day and focus on what is really important in our lives. Serving people that call the coast home is our objective at Roby's, and it's great to translate that into some good old-fashioned community service."
